On Wednesday April 12, you are to try Nordic style pole walking to see if you like it. Learn the four basic steps with Nordixx Canada Master Pole walk instructor Linda Schaumleffel. ($20 class fee.  Register and pay through this EVENT CALENDAR.  Click on April 12.)   Get a feel for Nordic style pole walking before you decide.  If you like it you can purchase the best poles from Linda at the end of the lesson ($91).

 

3.  TWO free ROYAL OAK  NEIGHBOURHOOD POLE WALKING CLUBS

WEDNESDAY at 12:00noon….starting in front of the Weight Watcher office.

What a great location to stop by on your way home from work. Walk across the bridge or drive and park.

What you will grow to love is this easy way to unwind, the neck/shoulder de-stressing action, and the healing breezes off the ocean that will blow your work troubles away, so that you can go home to your family refreshed, and with enough new energy to maximize the evening hours.  Since you will be exercising 90% of your muscles in a very do-able way, expect to have posture straighten out, get oblique/abs of steel, lower BP, lower LDL, steadier insulin, and smaller pant size.  Results start showing up in 3-4 weeks. If you can walk, you can do this!

 

THE PRESCRIPTION FOR HEALTH IS TO POLE WALK 3 X 30 MINUTES EACH WEEK.

THE GOAL IS TO MAKE THIS LOCATION THE PLACE TO UNWIND THROUGH EXERCISE AFTER WORK.
