This group lesson is up to 10 people.  Everyone can borrow poles for the lesson, and if desired buy the good NORDIXX “traveler” poles at the end of the lesson ($91 includes tax).

After taking this class, you can take other courses offered by me, and/or join one of the many neighbourhood pole walking clubs in our town.  Of course you can get out on your own and pole walk for fitness;  the (minimum) prescription for health is to pole walk 3 times a week for 30 minutes.  Nordic style pole walking feels so good, you won’t want to stop!

Realistically, it takes about 4 sessions to really get the hang of the NORDIC style of pole walking.  You can take a subsequent SKILL or FITNESS courses or repeat the LEARN lesson as many times as you wish.  Once learned properly, this skill will serve you the rest of your life!

This is the most valuable course I offer, because 4 sessions is just the right amount of learning time to master the skill of NORDIC STYLE POLE WALKING.   Once mastered this skill will last you a lifetime and create the most benefits possible in your body.

You can register for this course with NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE and learn from scratch, or you can register for this course having taken a LEARN CLASS with me sometime in the past.  Either way is good because we will be reviewing the basic technique from square one and build up to mastery in the four week time.

THERE IS HOMEWORK….each week you will pole walk on your own, practising what you have learned, AT LEAST TWO MORE TIMES. Do not register for this course until you mark out the three times per week that you will pole walk (counting our session together as one).

By the end of this course you will have pole walked at least 12 times which will make you feel very confident, and also start to manifest some benefits like straighter posture, looser pants, more stability/confidence, and more energy.  For those who measure things,  it is also possible to notice an improvement in BP, insulin numbers, and LDL in this short space of time.
