Each week we will meet at a different beautiful and hilly location around Victoria.  There will be a map outlining the easy, moderate, and challenging routes.  We will start together and end together  pole walking about 60 minutes.  During the route you will do some sets of leg lunges/squats….made easy because you use your poles to assist.

You will receive a training schedule for your mid week walks.

Each week you will receive the Saturday location  and a weight loss  health tip, so we can give it our best shot to lose a few pounds!

We will take a body composition measurement at the beginning and at the end to track specifically how your body responded to this program.  If you have fat to lose we will measure the declining % of body fat!   If you are at the right weight we will measure the increase in your muscle mass.  We will all aim to get our waist measurement smaller…as it is the best correlation to health risks.

Also suggested is that you visit your doctor and get a measurement of your starting chlorestral, blood pressure, weight, diabetes numbers, and anything else you are specifically watching with your doctor.  At the end you will get re-measured by your doctor.

We are finding that it is at these on-going courses that you meet new buddies and make friends!
